Following a reports about a clashed between youths of Okpu Itumo community and Nigeria soldier, about 3 people were missing and 4 houses was burn down in the community. According to investigation, a group of thugs from Cross River state take the advantages of the violent to attacks the community, killed one resident called Duru John, cut off his head and burnt down houses.
