The Ogun and Lagos state observation officers and health workers were puts on notice, following a confirmation of Lassa fever outbreak in Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba in Abeokuta. The Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, confirmed the outbreak, while Dr. Babatunde Ipaiye, the Ogun State Commissioner for Health said that a 20-year- old man was rushed to Federal Medical Centre after a trip back from Lagos.
