The Head Coach of Algerian senior national team, George Leekens has resigned after leading the team to a frustrating African Cup of Nations, AFCON, 2017 which is ungoing in Gabon. Mr Leekens was handed the job four months ago and started his reign with a 3-1 loss to Nigeria in the 2018 World Cup qualifying series.
